  2. Love Your City Event Grants

    Love Your City Event (“LYCE”) Grants are intended to support the start of new events that have not been done in the City before. Goals of the LYCE Grant program include bringing new event ideas, in partnership with local organizations (co-creators) to enhance the quality of life of Hampton residents and visitors through quality public gatherings.

    BikeWalk Hampton is an event to celebrate cycling and walking, and raise awareness of the City’s first bicycle and pedestrian plan!

  4. Blackbeard Festival

    Once a year visitors from all over the country enjoy the sights and sounds of 18th century Hampton overrun by pirates. Hampton’s waterfront comes alive with dozens of pirate re-enactors, costumed in historically accurate garb, who transform today’s Hampton into the busy seaport of yesterday.

    Sunday evenings will be rocking at the beach this summer with a musical mix including everything from beach to Motown & swing. Listen and dance while enjoying this evening of music under the stars!

    "Santa Calls" is a program that provides Hampton area children ages 4 through 9 years with the opportunity to speak directly to Santa Claus!
