All discussions will be held at Slover Library, 235 E. Plume Street in Norfolk. The opening and closing sessions will be open to the public. There is no opportunity for public comment, but anyone may attend and listen.
The public is invited to watch at other times (though the meeting and design rooms may not have extra seating) during Slover Library’s normal operating hours.
Friday – Opening Session 9 a.m.-noon. Visits to both sites in the afternoon
Saturday – Charrette
Sunday – Brief work session
Monday – Charrette
Tuesday – Closing Session, 9 a.m. to noon
At the workshop’s conclusion, the teams will identify a number of strategies that promote integrated water management and resiliency that are applicable for communities across Hampton Roads. A report will be issued by fall, and a final report will be available by the end of the year.
