Olde Hampton Neighborhood Center

In fall of 2015, the Olde Hampton Community Center closed due to deteriorating conditions of the building.  The City Council has set aside $3.5 million to construct a new neighborhood center in Grant Park, the site of the former center. The new center will be approximately 18,000 square feet.

A citizen group has been working with City staff to identify activities that will take place in the building.  These activities will inform the design.   The Olde Hampton Neighborhood Network Center opened in early 2016 at 125 Franklin Street. This center will serve as a temporary center until the new center is built.
