A New Source of Nitrogen for the Changing Arctic - Lunch in Time

The Arctic Ocean is a system undergoing rapid change, with warming temperatures and sharp declines in ice coverage. It may not be all bad news, however. During a recent voyage to the Arctic, Virginia Institute of Marine Science researchers found that more nutrients may be becoming available for the food web. Join us as Dr. Deborah Bronk, professor of marine science at VIMS, discusses this new discovery, the impacts it may have on fishing, and the many research techniques used in this amazing region of our planet.
