Nominate a senior for Senior Citizenship of the Year Award

Oct. 5, 2017 - Do you know an outstanding senior citizen (aged 70 to 90) who deserves special recognition? You can nominate them for the Hampton Senior Citizenship of the Year Award. 

The Hampton Senior Citizens Advisory Committee and Senior Center are calling for nominations for residents older than 70 who have enhanced the community through their work, engagement with others, volunteerism or selfless acts of service to the community. 

Nominations are due Nov. 7. Qualified seniors must be residents of Hampton between age 70 and 90.

Forms can be turned in to the Senior Center at 3501 Kecoughtan Road. Hampton will celebrate and honor seniors for their valuable contribution to the community at an awards luncheon at 10 a.m. Dec. 4 at the Hampton Senior Center.
