Animal Control enforces city and state animal-related LN8A213233.jpg
ordinances, educates citizens on responsible pet ownership, issues summonses for ordinance violations, secures warrants and can impound and seize animals.

Animal control officers investigate complaints of animal cruelty, neglect, inadequate care, animal exposures, vicious animals, sick or injured animals and strays. They also educate citizens about wildlife concerns and remove dead animals from city streets.
