Spotlight on Citizens: This segment of Spotlight on Citizens highlights the International Children's Festival, an event that provides a unique opportunity for children and their families to experience the sights, sounds, and cuisine of distant places right in their own backyard. This year's festival featured over 30 countries and cultures showcasing their respective heritages through entertainment, food, and educational exjibits based on Virginia's Standards of Learning (SOLs).
Interagency Community Resource The expo included a variety of activities such as health screening stations and workshops on topics such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, and money management.
Hampton Roads Air Force Week Viewers will enjoy watching several activities held during Air Force Week such as the opening ceremonies, an event honoring American's veterans, and a ceremony for employer support of the Guard and Reserve. Telecommunications Honor Award Ceremony Members of the Hampton Roads Police Division's Communications Unit are recognized in this program.

City Council Meetings Hampton City Council meetings will now begin at 7 p.m. (instead of 7:30 p.m.) on the second Wednesday of every month. There will only be one evening council meeting every month unless a special meeting is scheduled. Afternoon work sessions will now take place at 1:00 p.m. (instead of 2:00 p.m.) on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month.
