Applicants must attend and successfully complete every step of the hiring process to be considered for employment. If you arrive late for any phase of the process you will be disqualified.

NOTE: The Hiring Process takes approximately 90 to 120 days to complete.

Step 1: Attend the Written Test

Applicants are presented with a brief overview of the Division, the positions, and the selection process.

Following the Assembly, each applicant must take the Written Exam.

Written Exam

The written exam i s a 3-part test consisting of:

• Listening skills
• Reading comprehension
• Basic math

There is no study guide available for this exam.

Applicants successfully completing the Written Exam will the the Firefighter Agility Test.
