The Hampton Teen Center

Teen Center

As is true in every community, young people - especially teenagers are looking for safe places to go where they can be with friends, have fun, and learn new things or just chill after a hard day at school. For the past twelve years the Hampton Youth Commission, in partnership with the Coalition for Youth, Parks and Recreation, the Planning Department, Hampton City Schools, and Alternatives, Inc. has been documenting and supporting the need for such a facility in Hampton that specifically addresses the unique needs of the teenage population during out of school hours.>> more
