Library Services for Disabled Borrowers

The Hampton Public Library has a variety of materials and services available for people with disabilities.

• Large Print books & magazines

  Fiction & non-fiction for many interests, plus a few magazines, for those having difficulty reading regular print.

• Talking Books

  Books on cassette & compact disc, available for blind & visually impaired readers and the general population.

• Books by Mail

  Regular or large print books sent by U.S. Mail to homebound patrons.

• Game Night Out

  An evening of fun each month for blind or visually impaired adults.

• Computers

Public computers that are wheelchair accessible and have tools to aid the visually and hearing impaired, such as a screen magnifier, large print, high contrast screen settings, and headphones with volume control.
