Hampton's Environmental Services Division is dedicated to helping citizens enjoy the outdoors in safe and environmentally-friendly surroundings. The Division is divided into five categories: Pest Control Operations, Stormwater Management Facility Inspections, Illicit Discharge Screening, NewMarket Creek Inspections, and Stormwater Emergency Response.

City will spray for mosquitoes tonight after dusk

Mosquito spraying in Harris Creek, Hall Road, Thomas Street areas
June 30, 2015 - Weather permitting, the city will spray for adult mosquitoes in the Harris Creek, Beach Road/Hall Road, Seldendale/Thomas Street areas tonight. Spraying is prompted by field reports, 311 requests and high trap counts.
Check for standing rainwater to reduce mosquito population
