Information Technology is divided into seven key functional teams that provide the following support.

Application Support
The Applications Support Team is responsible for providing integration, development and problem resolution services for revenue management, financials and personnel systems. Applications Support is also responsible for database management, the data warehouse and general programming support.

Engineering
The Engineering Team manages and operates the City's data and telecommunications network. They are also responsible for managing the City's many servers. The Engineering Team also manages Internet and Intranet connections, e-mail and file-sharing, and is responsible for network security.

Web
The Web Team is responsible for developing and maintaining the city's web presence and tying in departmental transaction and interactive systems. The Web Team also manages the Intranet site.

Production
The Production Team is responsible for operating hardcopy production systems for large-scale departmental documents. The Production Team also operates the City Hall mail room.

Technical Support
The Technical Support Team is responsible for providing all desktop technical support for desktop computer related problems and implementations. They perform site visits to install Windows software, configure e-mail, connect PCs to the network and other desktop related duties.

Decision Support
The Decision Support Team provides administrative support to IT customers within and outside IT. The Decision Support Team manages IT's financial records, software licensing, bill reconciliation and clerical tasks associated with projects. They also conduct invitations to bid and are responsible for all non-RFP IT related procurement actions.

Project Management
The Project Management Team brings together the functions of the other five teams to provide complete and effective solutions to customers. The Project Management Team works with departments to implement new systems, integrate existing systems, improve productivity and further the IT goals of the City.
