Assessment news: City's land held value in 2014
Jan. 28, 2015 - The value of all taxable properties increased slightly in 2014, said City Assessor Brian Gordineer. The increase was less than one percent. Fiscal year 2016, beginning July 1, will see the first increase in taxable land values since 2010. News release
City prepares for rain, up to an inch of snow
Jan. 26, 2015 - Hampton officials continue to monitor and prepare for a winter storm that is expected to drop rain and about an inch of snow on the area today and Tuesday. The forecast from the National Weather Service calls for winds of 10-15 mph. News release
Faneuil announces Peninsula Town Center expansion
Faneuil Inc. is planning a second expansion in Peninsula Town Center, less than a year after the company chose to move 250 jobs to the city. The company will add capacity for 170 more positions with an added investment of close to $700,000. Daily Press article
