Director
Walt Credle has headed the Hampton Department of Social Services since 1990. Before coming to Hampton he served in three other local social service agencies as a Director, Assistant Director, Planning Specialist, Social Worker and Eligibility Worker. >> more
Employment Services Offered
Employment Services Offered Recipients of the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families and Food Stamp program who could become self-sufficient are enrolled in education, training, work experience, job search and/or other employability enhancement activities. >> more
 
Financial Assistance Offered
Provides financial assistance to eligible families with children. The family receives a monthly cash payment to meet their basic needs. Eligibility is based on income, non-financial criteria and family size. >> more
