Hampton TRIADHistory | Hampton TRIAD | Officers | Activities | Project Lifesaver | Yellow Dot Program Hampton's Sheriff Office began its Peninsula-wide association with TRIAD in 1995. However, the Hampton chapter of TRIAD was established in May 2000 with an agreement between the Hampton Sheriff's Office, Hampton Fire & Rescue and the Hampton Police Department to work together with the Hampton chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) and other senior service organizations to address and improve "quality of life" issues for Hampton's seniors. Though TRIAD primarily focuses on reducing crime and senior safety, Hampton's TRIAD addresses any mature adult and senior concerns. In addition to the Sheriff's Office, Fire and Police Department, membership consists of representatives from organizations such as Department of Social Services' Foster Grandparents Program, Aberdeen Gardens Historic & Civic Association, Queen Street Beacon @ the Crossroads, Six House, Inc., Wythe-Phenix Improvement League., etc., all working together to connect seniors with resources to match their needs. Hampton TRIAD meets at 10 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at the Hampton Senior Center on Kecoughtan Road. Come join us. For more information on TRIAD membership, contact the Hampton Sheriff's Office at, 926-2540.
