Bluebird Gap Farm Volunteers Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Bluebird Gap Farm. We are excited to offer a variety of volunteer experiences. Please take the time to read through our available positions, their responsibilities, and their requirements. We offer morning and afternoon shifts every day of the week.

To apply for an available volunteer position, please fill out our volunteer application* (PDF) . Your application can be mailed, emailed, or dropped off at the farm. (*Submission of an application is not a guarantee of placement.)
Application Process
Our volunteer coordinator will review your application, and qualified applicants will be asked to come in for a short interview. If selected for a position, new volunteers will receive volunteer orientation* (you get a shirt!) and any necessary training for their position. (*A one-time donation of $25 is required during volunteer orientation.)
Special Note
We have 4 volunteer positions that start at 13 years old (Animal Care Assistant I, Animal Socializer I – Reptile, Animal Socializer I – Avian, and Grounds Maintenance Assistant). For volunteers age 13 to 15, we require parents/guardians to stay on site at the farm during the volunteer's shift. For volunteers age 16 to 17, we encourage parents/guardians to stay on site but do not require it.
