Hears appeals from architects, engineers, developers and contractors because the building official or code administrator is not properly interpreting the code, provisions of the code do not fully apply or an equal or better means has been used.

    Nov. 16, 2017 - An online presentation and survey is now available for Hampton residents who want to weigh in on proposed changes to city regulations regarding the storage of recreational vehicles.
  1. Community meeting planned to discuss where recreational vehicles can be parked

    Nov. 7, 2017 - Residents are invited to a community meeting at the Hampton Roads Convention Center on Nov. 15 to discuss proposed changes to the city ordinance regarding the storage of recreational vehicles in residential areas.


Board consists of three general contractors; one architect; and one engineer. Each serve five-year terms.
