Medical College of Hampton Roads (EVMS)

Eastern Virginia Medical School Board is one of the only medical schools in the nation founded by the community, for the community. We are focused not only on preparing the next generation of health-care providers, but also on translating discovery into better health care for the people of Hampton Roads.

Members

EVMS is governed by a 17-person Board of Visitors who are appointed by the governor, the General Assembly, local cities and the EVMS Foundation. Hampton rotates with other cities in selecting one appointee who serves a three-year term.
