Fleet Services

Fleet Services is an "internal-service" department whose mission is to provide professional, efficient, and cost-effective fleet management services and solutions to City departments and agencies by ensuring that City vehicles, equipment and fueling facilities are dependable, reliable, and safe.

The department’s goal is to provide City of Hampton customers with quality vehicles, equipment, and motor pool services through proactive and end-user feasibility, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance administration, life cycle cost analysis, and preventive maintenance programs that would be beneficial to employees and departments. Fleet Services ensures they have the transportation and equipment that is needed to supply superior services to our citizens.

Fleet services operates and maintains a fleet of vehicles to support City operations.
