Project Lifesaver

Project Life SaverProject Lifesaver is an innovative rapid response program that combines state-of-the-art locating technologies and innovative search and rescue methods to aid the families of victims suffering from Alzheimer's disease, autism and related disorders.

Project Lifesaver deploys specially trained teams to quickly locate and return wandering adults and children to their families and caregivers.

Over 5 million people in the United States suffer from Alzheimer's. Well over 50 percent of these people wander and become lost. A lost person with Alzheimer's or dementia represents a critical emergency. Project Lifesaver is in keeping with the Hampton Sheriff's Office mission of being "Committed to Our Community."
