Holiday Wonder Walk

2021-hww-1920

December 4-12 from 5 PM-9 PM

Hampton Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services offers a way for families to celebrate the holidays in a socially distanced, safer environment under Covid-19 conditions, with the Holiday Wonder Walk along Hampton’s Waterwalk Trail.  To enter, park in the main Coliseum parking lot, go to front doors of the Coliseum, then look to your right about 25-30 feet away and you’ll see lighted tents and a path entrance.  From there, the path takes you behind the Coliseum, along the water’s edge, and continues to Freeman Drive, crossing over bridges and winding through the woods, all lit for the holidays with a “Sea to the Stars” theme.  There is no admission fee, all activities are free, and parking is free.

With the lifting of certain Covid-19 restrictions this year, also featured will be live entertainment, food vendors, merchandise vendors, exhibitors, strolling characters, and kid’s activity stations.   As part of the lighted path, a limited number of Community Trees will also be available for Hampton clubs, businesses, churches, and organizations to decorate using the theme "From the Sea to the Stars."

If you’d like to participate as a vendor, entertainer, exhibitor, or to decorate a Community Tree, see applications below or email specialevents@hampton.gov for more information.
