Publicly Held Real Estate
The City of Hampton has created a formal process for submitting unsolicited proposals for publicly held real estate. The process is used by the city to review and respond to unsolicited proposals regarding the purchase, lease, or development of publicly held real estate property for non-public use. If you wish to submit a proposal for any properties advertised, please review the guidelines (PDF).
A proposal will be considered if it is determined to be financially feasible, in conformance with city goals and development objectives, and the unsolicited proposal criteria, and the property is not land banked for future use.
Proposals for land owned by the Hampton Economic Development Authority or Hampton Redevelopment and Housing Authority will be directed to the owner of record and considered in accordance with the entity's specific policies and guidelines. Information on publicly held land is provided without any representation, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, as to accuracy. The City of Hampton shall not be responsible for errors, omissions, withdrawal, or prior lease/sale.
