Kid's Cyber Safety Tips

Control your child's access to the internet
Use a commercial online service that offers parental features
Purchase internet blocking software
Explore the Internet with your child
Communicate the dangers of the internet to your child
Stress how important it is that your child not give out his or her personal information (i.e. name and address)
Tell your children to never agree to meet anyone face to face that he or she has met online
Know your child's friends and their parents. If they have internet access at their home, make sure their parents monitor the computer when children are online
