City Manager's Message 12/12/14: 2nd Bonus Payment

Just sending a quick reminder that the 2nd half of the bonus we were able to provide this year will be in bank accounts today for all those employees who received the July payment and were still employed on December 1, 2014. The amount of the bonus payment is as follows:

· Permanent Full-Time employees with a 4 or 5 rating will get $500 net of taxes
· Permanent Full-Time employees with a 3 rating will get $250 net of taxes
· Part-Time and WAE employees with a 3, 4 or 5 rating will get $125 net of taxes

Although a bonus is not a raise, I nevertheless hope you find this payment helpful to you and your family. As I stated in my email last week - and at two separate public meetings this week - a salary increase for all of our employees is my number one budget priority for next year. I believe the Council is also entirely supportive of this priority. In the meantime, I hope this bonus will brighten your holidays.
