City Manager's Message Dec. 9: Bonuses will be paid on Dec. 16

Where has the year gone? In two weeks, we will be observing the start of the Christmas holiday. Although Thanksgiving has passed, we are still in the season of gratitude and I along with City Council continue to be thankful for the work you do on behalf of the city in meeting the needs of our community. In recognition for your efforts, I am pleased to announce that the Citizen Satisfaction Bonus will be paid to all eligible employees on Dec. 16 in a separate pay. This year, eligible Permanent Full-Time (PFT) employees will receive $250 and eligible Permanent Part-Time (PPT) and When Actually Employed (WAE) employees will receive $125. These amounts are net taxes so you will see the full bonus amounts in your pay.

Eligibility for the bonus is as follows:

PFT employees must have been hired on or before March 31, 2022, and in a paid status for the pay period ending Dec. 16, 2022.
PPT/WAE employees must have been hired on or before Dec. 31, 2021, averaged at least 15 hours for the period of June 26, 2021, through March 18, 2022, and in a paid status for the pay period ending Dec. 9, 2022.
