City Manager's Message June 26: July 3rd & Peninsula Pilots Tickets

I cannot believe that July is almost here! Next week brings the July 4th holiday. This year it falls on a Tuesday. As an extra way of saying “thank you” to our amazing workforce, the Council and I are pleased to offer Monday, July 3rd as a bonus administrative day off for employees. Those employees who must work will get 8 hours off on another day during the new fiscal year. We hope you enjoy this well-deserved break!

Also, the Peninsula Pilots have begun their season, and I am pleased to announce that we have single-game tickets available for city employees on a first come, first available basis beginning today – and they will be good for any regular season home game! To ensure that as many people as possible can get tickets, we are limiting them to 4 per employee. To take advantage of this opportunity, you will need to pick up your tickets from the City Manager’s Office on the 8th floor of City Hall. Supervisors may pick up tickets for their team when providing signed documentation from those who will be receiving the tickets. We hope you enjoy this special benefit with family and friends.
