    January 16, 2019, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM @ Hampton History Museum

This month, we look into the future, rather than the past, as the city needs your voice to craft a plan to shape Hampton's future. What is your vision for the city? What do we need to do to get there? Who in our community can help us get there? The Community Plan will have several components: assessing where we are now; an overview of Hampton community data, which is our starting point; a 5-year plan on immediate strategic issues; and a 20-year plan that will look at broader areas of growth and development. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of your city. The implementation of the previous Community Plan, for example, resulted in significant reinvestment in key economic areas of the city, improved opportunities for youth, and partnerships for families and neighborhoods.
