Virtual Living Black Wax Museum 2021

Saturday, March 27, 2021

"The Living Black Wax Museum," returns virtually! In partnership with the Hampton History Museum, the Hampton Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated presents a video exhibit of notable figures in African American history portrayed by children. DID you know that the stoplight was invented by an African American scientist by the name of Garrett A. Morgan? Or that Charlotta Bass was the 1st African American woman to run for national political office in the United States? Join us for this event on the Hampton History Museum's Facebook page to learn about these and many other notable figures in history! After the event premieres on March 27, it will be found on the museum’s Facebook page, YouTube playlists and website, www.hamptonhistorymuseum.org.
