[ARCHIVED] Virginia Peninsula Clean Business Forum Rescheduled to March 18, 8:30am

The presentation, by Haywood Holder and other Queen Street Baptist leaders, will be "The Opportunity: Genesis to Revelation", the story of the church's reuse of an old building and conversion of an abandoned alley to a contemplation garden.

The Clean Business Forum recognizes businesses from four communities on the Peninsula that exemplify environmental sustainability and stewardship. C&F Bank is Hampton's Clean & Green Business Award winner for Winter 2015 .

The Peninsula Clean Business Forum is a coalition comprised of representatives from local Clean Community Organizations. Localities include the cities of Newport News and Hampton and the counties of James City and York. The Forum's purpose is to promote environmental improvements in the business communities through litter control, recycling, and beautification. Quarterly meetings aid in educating members on techniques, programs, and resources used to enhance both the physical and visual environment and to recognize businesses who serve as examples for others.
