[ARCHIVED] Hampton Waterways Restoration Project (HWRP) Special Event, March 24

Hampton Waterways Restoration Project will host a special presentation by Jackie Shannon, Virginia Oyster Restoration Manager of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, on March 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Fort Monroe Community Center's Art Room, 100 Stilwell Drive. Go to the first door on the right after entering the community center.

We are pleased to announce that Jackie Shannon, the Virginia Oyster Restoration Manager of Chesapeake Bay Foundation will be our guest speaker at our March meeting! Jackie will be talking about oyster restoration projects as well as giving information and answering questions about oysters and oyster restoration projects in our Hampton waterways.

After Ms. Shannon's presentation, the group will discuss about our upcoming events, such as “Walk Hampton Clean” April 11th event; an art project exhibit focusing on litter awareness and water; and new ideas for attracting more people to our team and more! Our group never has a shortage of projects or great ideas!

Please pass along the invitation to this meeting to other friends who may be interested. All are welcome to our meetings and events!
