[ARCHIVED] School Spruce Up Projects Need Your Help This Summer!

PCU Gerald Ford Volunteers at Aberdeen

Hampton schools need your help this summer to get ready for a new school year with a new Superintendent!

Here are a list of schools that have projects lined up they need help with – we’ll probably receive more requests as the summer rolls on. If you can pull together a crew that would help with even part of the project needs at any school, I know everyone at the school will appreciate your efforts immensely!

? Aberdeen Elementary School, 1424 Aberdeen Road, painting

? Asbury Elementary School, 140 Beach Road, painting and grounds spruce up (weeding, litter pickup, pruning)

? Bryan Elementary School, 1021 N Mallory Street, painting (the week of July 20)

? Eaton Middle School, 2108 Cunningham Drive, painting and grounds spruce up

? Lindsay Middle School, 1636 Briarfield Road, courtyard cleanups and painting gyms walls

? Moton Early Childhood Center, 339 Old Buckroe Road, painting exterior doors (both sides)

? Smith Elementary School, 379 Woodland Road, painting trim and other areas of school

If you can help with any part of these projects, please contact hccc@hampton.gov and we will put you in touch with the contact person to get everything going.

Thank you so very much for your support of Hampton’s schools. It’s so important to show our kids that we love them and want them to succeed by making their schools are neat and clean as they can be!
