[ARCHIVED] Be an International Coastal Cleanup Volunteer!

It is time to get “your spot” for the 2015 International Coastal Cleanup, sponsored by Clean Virginia Waterways and the international non-profit Ocean Conservancy. The International Coastal Cleanup in Hampton needs your help to clean our waterways and keep plastic out of our Chesapeake Bay. Volunteer today to clean up our waterways during September and October. KUDOS TO EVERYONE WHO VOLUNTEERED LAST YEAR - you joined 291 other volunteers in Hampton to pick up 2,955 lbs of trash and covered 37 miles of our waterways on the shoreline or by boat! This year we hope to do even better!

Register NOW! All sites are open for grabs. Provide the following information:
> Name
> Group
> Number of expected volunteers
> Location of desired site
> T-shirt size for leader of group

Saturday morning dates available with low tide for shoreline cleanup:
> September 5th (Labor Day Weekend)
> September 19th
> October 3rd

Saturday afternoon date available with low tide for shoreline cleanup:
> October 24th, 1:00 pm

If you are interested in a BOATERS cleanup:
Morning high tides are September 12th, September 26th, October 10th.
