Summer bodies are made in the winter and with the New Year on our heels jumpstart your transformation at the nearest Hampton Community Center.

City employees receive free general and fitness membership to all four community centers and senior center with proper ID.

Community centers will hold an Open House Jan. 4-9. First time guests can receive a one-time free fitness center pass or a one-time pass to try any of the group exercise classes that week.

o West Hampton Community Center (WHCC), 757-896-4687 1630, Briarfield Road, Hampton, Va. 23661

The centers offer various fitness classes and machines to help get your journey started.

Not exactly sure where to start? Get some help from the pros. The centers have certified personal trainers available to help.

o Single sessions - $30

o Six sessions - $140

o 20 sessions - $440

All sessions are an hour long.
