[ARCHIVED] Spend a day with top city leaders and learn valuable information during Hampton 101

May 5, 2017 - What makes Hampton such a unique and livable city? Spend a day with some of the city’s top leaders and learn valuable information about the community during Hampton 101 at Sandy Bottom Nature Park on Thursday June 1 from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.  You can also take an exclusive bus tour from 1:30-3:30 p.m. and learn more about neighborhood and community initiatives. Space on the bus tour is limited.

Sponsored by Hampton’s Neighborhood Commission and Hampton City Schools, Hampton 101 starts with Sandra King-Medina of the Neighborhood Commission talking about community partnerships, and City Manager Mary Bunting talking about “Hampton and You.”

Other scheduled speakers include Terry O’Neill, director of the city’s Community Development Department; Leonard Sledge, director of Economic Development; John Caggiano, deputy Schools superintendent; and Jonathan McBride, manage of Housing and Neighborhood Services.
