June 2, 2017 - What type of "assets" are available in your community, and how can you use them to improve the neighborhood? Learn about "Asset Based Community Development" by attending a free workshop from 6:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 29 in the Ruppert Sargent Building, 1 Franklin St. Asset Based Community Development is a growing movement that invites people to explore the assets in a community - the people, organizations, leadership, etc. - and how they can be used in the community’s development. Workshop participants will get an overview of the process, learn the benefits of using asset based development in Hampton, and learn how to move forward in the process - from design through implementation. The workshop is open to the public and will be lead by Jim Moynihan of One Church. To reserve your spot at the workshop, or for more information, contact Joseph Andrews in Hampton’s Neighborhood Development office at 757-727-6463, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
