[ARCHIVED] Motorists can expect delays in Buckroe Beach area because of Saturday triathlon

June 7, 2017 - Motorists can expect delays in the Buckroe Beach area on Saturday, June 10, between 8 a.m. and noon, because of the Life’s A Beach Triathlon. The event includes a 200 yard swim, 5 mile bike ride and 2 mile run along the beach. The following roads will be impacted by the bike ride portion of the triathlon: Buckroe Avenue, Mallory Street, North First Street and Pilot Avenue. Police said that as traffic conditions allow, these roads will remain open to traffic during the event. For more information about the triathlon visit http://bit.ly/2qWxuS1 .
