Most City offices, schools closed July 3 and 4, as nation celebrates independence

June 23, 2017 - Most Hampton City offices, school offices, and most city services will be closed Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Trash pickup will remain on regular schedule Monday, July 3 but trash pickup normally scheduled for Tuesday will take place Wednesday, July 5.

After much consideration and a successful FY 2017, City Manager Mary Bunting and City Council decided to offer Monday, July 3 as an administrative day to city employees.

Please note that not all Hampton City offices and services will be closed Monday, July 3. Go online for a complete closing list.
