Some downtown streets will be closed Saturday morning for Hampton homecoming parade


Oct. 19, 2017 - Hampton Police remind us that the annual Hampton University Homecoming Parade will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. As a result, no parking will be allowed Saturday from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. on King Street between Pembroke Avenue and Lincoln Street; Lincoln Street (south side) between King Street and Armistead Avenue; and Settlers Landing (north side) between Armistead Avenue and Eaton Street. Anyone parked in these areas will be ticketed and towed at owner’s expense.  Anyone with questions should contact the Community Relations Unit at 727-611,  or Senior Corporal H. Gallishaw 810-4603.
