Nov. 30, 2017 - Five Hampton police officers who spent two weeks serving as police officers in storm-ravaged Puerto Rico talk about their experiences in a police department video that's available online. "I'll always remember this experience and I think this will be the highlight of my career," said Master Police Officer Raymond Feliciano. A short story accompanying the video notes that the trip was "deeply personal," for Feliciano, whose father lives on the island.

Puerto Rico is still recovering from being hit first by Hurricane Irma and then by Hurricane Maria in September. The island's infrastructure was devastated and many businesses and services remain closed.
