[ARCHIVED] Voters go to the polls to consider candidates for Senate, House of Representatives

June 11, 2018 - Voters go to the polls Tuesday, June 12, to consider primary candidates for the House of Representatives and U.S. Senate. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. As long as you are in line at 7 p.m. you will be allowed to cast your vote.

The Republican ballot will include Corey A. Steward, Nick J. Freitas and E.W. Jackson as the party’s nominee for U.S. Senate. The winner will face incumbent Sen. Timothy Kaine, who is not opposed for his party’s nomination.  Below is the full list of candidates:

Republican 2nd Congressional District

Member House of Representatives 2nd District
