[ARCHIVED] Bluebird Gap Farm closed Friday to prepare for fun festival Saturday

Oct. 18, 2018 - Bluebird Gap Farm will be closed Friday in preparation for the festival on Saturday, when hay rides, "punkin chunkin," straw mazes and more will be available from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Entry and activities at Bluebird will be free. Food and pumpkins will be available for purchase.

The 60-acre farm is home to about 150 domestic and wild animals, including horses, cows, pigs, llamas, tortoises, peacocks and waterfowl. The park also has a covered pavilion with 18 picnic tables, and other grills and tables throughout the property for the convenience of visitors.

In 2016, Bluebird Gap Farm was named one of the nation's best petting zoos by AmericanTowns Media, a technology and media content company in Westport, Conn. Learn more about the farm online.
