[ARCHIVED] Join 'Blue View' and help police protect your business and others in Hampton

Dec. 11, 2018 - Your business can contribute to a safer and stronger community by becoming a part of Hampton's new Blue View program.

Blue View allows your business to share live security camera video with the Hampton Police Department's Real Time Information Center – letting first responders see what your cameras see during an emergency.

The Information Center includes staff that can analyze crime trends and monitor cameras across the city in real time. Part of the goal is to continue building partnerships between police and local businesses.

While cameras at many existing businesses are already compatible with the Blue View program, Hampton Police can help businesses make sure they have the right hardware.

For more information on the program or the equipment needed, go online or contact Lt. Michael Wisniewski at  757-727-6313,  mwisniewski@hampton.gov;  or Cpl. William Darden at 757-602-9310, wdarden@hampton.gov.
