Sign up now for CERT training classes that start on Jan. 3 and end Jan. 29

Dec. 10, 2018 - Hampton's Emergency Management Office has new Community Emergency Response Team classes that start Jan. 3 and end Jan. 29. Sign up now for training on everything from disaster preparedness to light search and rescue. 

Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays  -Jan. 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22 and 24, with a final practice on Jan. 29 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. CERT training teaches volunteers about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their community and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
