[ARCHIVED] Job seekers can connect with potential employers at Get Hired Job and Resource fair on Feb. 5

Jan. 16, 2019 - Connect with businesses that are hiring and get valuable job-seeking tips during the Get Hired Hampton Job and Resource Fair on Feb. 5 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, 1610 Coliseum Drive. More than 100 employers are already registered.

Preparation help and workshops for job seekers are available at the Virginia Career Works Hampton Center, the Virginia Employment Commission, Goodwill Community Employment Center and Hampton’s new WorkOne Center. 

Registration is not required for the job fair, which starts at 9 a.m. and ends at noon. A special preparation workshop will be held at the Convention Center on Feb. 5 at 8:30 a.m. and job seekers are encouraged to dress for interviews. Employers who would like to be part of the event can register at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/19GetHired 

Get Hired is sponsored by Hampton’s Economic Development Department, Virginia Career Works Greater Peninsula Region, The Youth Workforce Center, Virginia Employment Commission, the Goodwill Community Employment Center and Jobs for Life.
