HRT bus 300nf

May 10, 2019 - Hampton Roads Transit, which provides public transportation across the region, is conducting a major review of its bus service and wants to know what you want to have in an area-wide transportation system. What features would you include in local bus service? What would you eliminate? Can you envision a system without city boundaries?

The public is invited to attend any one of a series of meetings on the transit transformation project. The Hampton meetings will be held on Tuesday, May 14, from 5:30-7:30 at the Historic Post Office, 132 E. Queen St, and on Tuesday, June 4, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Hampton Roads Transit offices, 3400 Victoria Blvd. Similar meetings will be held in May and June in Portsmouth, Newport News, Chesapeake, Virginia Beach and Norfolk.
