[ARCHIVED] Its the New Game of Life: Discovering Your Next Move

Technology

As we head toward 2030 - when the majority of the workforce will have more than one job and many of us will be contract workers - the model for preparing workers with education and training requires a shift. We know many jobs or parts of jobs will be eliminated due to automation and Artificial Intelligence.

We know workers will need higher levels of skills, especially those in middle-skill jobs. But we haven't thought about other conditions that will change how career coaches or other advisors will work with workforce clients: Attaining higher skills and demonstrating soft skills is not a one-time achievement

It's a new game of LIFE: lifelong learning, independent contractors, financial readiness, and employability.
