[ARCHIVED] Hampton residents, city employees can get free tickets to Saturday's Hampton Heat racing event

July 16, 2019 - Free Tickets to Saturday's Hampton Heat 200 – an annual racing event that draws several dozen racing teams and thousands of fans to Langley Speedway – are available to Hampton residents and city employees. Tickets are available 9 a.m.– 5 p.m. at the Hampton Visitor Center, 120 Old Hampton Lane, in downtown Hampton. 

Proof of residence or employment by the city is required. A limit of four tickets per household applies. A 6:15 p.m. fan meet and greet kicks off the evening’s racing schedule, with racing underway at 7 p.m. featuring Bandolero, Legends, Super Trucks and Grand Stock events.   

Regular admission fees for the Hampton Heat are $12 adults, $10 military (active or retired) and senior citizens (60 & over), and $5 for children 6-12. Admission is free for fans 5 and under. Season passes may be purchased for $250. Purchase advance tickets online at https://langley-speedway.ticketleap.com/ .
