[ARCHIVED] Get rid of unused and unwanted prescription drugs on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Oct. 17, 2019 - Saturday, Oct. 26 is prescription drug take back day, and both the Hampton Sheriff's Office and Hampton Police – working with the federal Drug Enforcement Agency - will have locations where you can turn in expired, unwanted or unused prescription drugs.

The Sheriff's Office will accept unwanted medication from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Carmel Center, 136 Kings Way. Call 728-2010 or 926-2540 for more information.
The police will accept unwanted medication from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Sentara Careplex Hospital, 3000 Coliseum Drive.

Don't miss this chance to properly dispose of potentially dangerous drugs.
