[ARCHIVED] Nominations open for seniors who should be honored for contributions to the community

Oct. 17, 2019 - Do you know a senior citizen who should be recognized for their contributions to the community? On Dec. 3, the Hampton Senior Citizens Advisory Committee, along with Hampton Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services, Hampton Health Department, Hampton Department of Human Services, and the Peninsula Agency on Aging Inc. will celebrate and honor seniors ages 70 and up. Nominations are being accepted through Nov. 1. Go online for more information and a nominee form. Entries should include a descriptive explanation of the nominee's accomplishments.
