[ARCHIVED] Expert panel will talk about starting, expanding a business during November discussion

Oct. 29, 2019 - Starting a business? Expanding your business? Looking for a roadmap and information to help you choose the best options to secure financing for your specific business needs? Hampton's Economic Development Department is sponsoring an expert panel discussion that will provide insight into the lending process, including tips on identifying your best financing strategies, common financing mistakes in the loan process, managing business credit, and positioning your company for loan eligibility. The discussion will cover financing basics, start-up costs, small business lenders, applying for a loan, grants, and more. The free discussion will be held Friday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m.-noon in the Veterans Conference Room at the Ruppert Sargent Building, 1 Franklin St. Networking and registration will begin at 8:30 and light refreshments will be provided. Representatives from the city's Procurement team will also be available to discuss doing business with Hampton. Register online.
